Fire Sprinkler Inspector - NFPA 25 & Backflow Tests

Fire Alarm Installer/Technician Perform installation, service and inspection activities on fire alarm systems. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications and schematics. Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer specifications. Performs all tasks required for complete installation of fire alarm systems. Cable installation Device mounting Wiring devices and control panels point to point Programming and testing system head end equipment Basic computer skills and knowledge of applicable codes (State, NFPA, etc.) NICET Certification Ability to be bonded Fire Extinguisher Inspection Technician Perform Annual Inspections on portable, wheeled and fixed fire extinguishers to NFPA 10 Perform Annual Inspections of Suppression Systems to NFPA 17, 17A, 96 & 2001 Ability to test and recharge fire extinguishers Knowledge of applicable codes (State, NFPA, etc.) NAFED Certification a plus Ability to be bonded Fire Sprinkler Fitter Minimum 2 Years as a fitter Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to pass a drug screening NICET certification is not required but is a plus Must be able to maintain and be responsible for all tools & vehicle Must be able to communicate with co-workers as well as customer contacts Must have basic knowledge of NFPA 13, 24, 20 & 25 Must be able to complete weekly required documentation (Time Sheets, Weekly Work Sheets, etc.) Must have a valid & acceptable drivers license Must be able to lift heavy loads (Ladders, Power Machine, Had Tools, Pipe, etc.) Fire Sprinkler Inspection Technician Perform inspections per NFPA 25 on various types of fire sprinkler systems Perform Backflow preventor tests as required by state and local codes Appropriate state inspection technician licenses Appropriate Backflow Tester Certifications Benefits We offer the following benefits (after 90 days of employment): 50% Paid (Employee Only) Health Insurance Vision Supplemental Insurance Company Vehicle (depending on position) Accrued Vacation Paid Holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr BVS Systems Inc.
