Help

You will serve as a/an Carpenter/Locksmith and be responsible for performing carpentry and locksmith duties..

Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:

• Constructing, finishing, and repairing or installing a wide variety of structural items such as framework, rafters, drywall, plaster, door and window frames, and interior and exterior trim.
• Repairing or installing institutional hardware and fittings, including screens, towel racks, mirrors, benches, counter tops, tables. lockers, closets, ceiling tiles, floor and wall tiles. etc.
• Constructing or repairing exterior structures such as baseball dugouts, sheds, stairs, fences, benches, etc.
• Installating, maintaining, and repairing a variety of locking devices including electronic key card systems.
• Repairing. adjusting, cleaning, troubleshooting, and installing a wide variety of commercially-manufactured locking devices typically found on doors. desks, safes, vaults, cabinets and Other secured units/locations.
