It is staffed by certified medical technologists and technicians working under the supervision of two full-time pathologists. The "lab" at MRH is a fascinating, busy, and interesting place.About The Career:Performs various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Applies techniques used in the field of blood banking, hematology, serology, chemistry and morphological examinations. Records test results, quality control, remedial action and may also engage in research.All About You:Associate Degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical laboratory or equivalent education and training.Applicants without current certification must take and pass the ASCP, NCA (MLT, MT, MLS or CLS) or equivalent exam within 6 months of hire Must have at least 3 months of training in each specialty in which the individual performs high complexity testing.
