Our Whitewater, WI operation is looking for a Metal Finishing Powder Coating Operator who takes pride in precision. Your work will protect and elevate metal components used across a range of applications. From meticulous prep to dependable equipment operation and thorough inspection—you’ll ensure each part leaves our facility with a reliable, attractive finish.
Your impact
- Prepare parts: remove contaminants, sand as needed, and mask accurately for clean lines.
- Run the process: operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens with care.
- Match the spec: blend powders and apply coatings to meet color and finish requirements.
- Guarantee quality: check film build and consistency; adjust techniques when required.
- Elevate safety and order: maintain a tidy workstation and follow safety protocols.
- Drive throughput: collaborate with teammates to meet production schedules.
- Protect uptime: perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in top condition.
Your background
- High school diploma or equivalent; related technical coursework is beneficial.
- Experience in powder coating or comparable finishing work preferred.
- Sharp eye for detail and unwavering quality standards.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team in a high-activity environment.
- Working knowledge of safety practices in manufacturing.
- Effective communication and a positive approach.
- Openness to learning new processes and improving techniques.
