Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team in Poughkeepsie, New York, located just 75 minutes north of New York City. This in an opportunity for a full time Night PA/NP position that is hospital based patient management.

Patient Management Responsibilities * Critical Care/CTICU management * CT Step Down Unit Patient Management * Bedside Procedures * Consults * Pre-op evaluation * Discharges * Progress Notes * -24/7 service, in-house call * Job Highlights: * Vassar has recently opened a new 696,000-square-foot, eight-level inpatient pavilion with 294 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms * Flexible work schedule * Sign on bonus available for candidate with more than three years of cardiac surgery experience * Generous allowances for CMEs, Dues, and Relocation * Collegial group and balanced work/life schedule

Qualifications A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting is preferred. 1-2 years of current surgical experience is also preferred.
