Job Description
Title: RN - LDR

Schedule:
Nights; 18:45 - 07:15
Every other weekend required
Holiday requirements in rotation

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- Kansas RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Certifications
- 2 years of LDR experience
- Must be willing to float to Medical/Surgical and care for pediatric patients
- Completed fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months
- Commitment to obtaining PALS prior to start

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the LDR unit, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans.
- Perform physical assessments, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Educate patients and families about pregnancy, childbirth, and post-partum care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed to assist with patient care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Nicotine-free facility
- Orientation is virtual every Monday
- Two shifts may be canceled by the client each month without cost to the client and no pay to the travel healthcare professional
- If the client cancels due to low census, the RN may be asked to remain available, and time at home will be considered on-call and paid at the on-call rate if called back to work.
