About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team in an ICU setting
• Provide and manage care for a diverse patient population including Cardiac, Trauma, and Neuro cases
• Document patient care and assessments utilizing the EPIC EMR system
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, including availability to work 2 of 3 designated winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

• Active Iowa RN license
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
• Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
• Active PALS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address to be eligible

• TNCC certification preferred; will be required if assignment is extended
• Experience with Cardiac, Trauma, and/or Neuro patient populations
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
