Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a premier retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff while responding professionally to concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:30 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within an upscale retail and mixed-use environment. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking facilities, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures. Maintain professional communication with property staff, retail personnel, visitors, and local responders while preparing accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
