Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring ICU, telemetry, and Epic experience along with an active MA RN license. Details Work in a 24-bed high acuity Surgical Intensive Care Unit Clinical specialties include General Surgery, Trauma, Transplant, and Cardiothoracic Surgery Level one trauma center caring for acutely ill patients requiring additional acute therapies 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment No floating or charge responsibilities required Requirements Active MA RN license required in hand Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required ICU and telemetry experience required Epic EMR experience required Must be proficient in medications and dysrhythmias for Day 1 pass/fail testing Additional Information Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high quality, patient-centered care Day 1 pass/fail testing administered covering medications and dysrhythmias Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months (perm, per diem, or contract) prior to consideration Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this position These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
