CTR Group is seeking a Paint Line Specialist in Newport News, VA. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

• PAY: $16 - $22

Duties:

• Apply powder coating finish to metal parts in an automated and/or manual electrostatic powder coating booth.
• Produce the maximum number of coated parts in minimum time by working efficiently.
• Use correct powder per customer specification ability to read basic blueprint is helpful.
• Monitor quality during production.
• Keep production records.
• Daily record of parts, colors used, maintenance performed, and any problems occurring and addressed.
• Monitor and adjust wash line water quality daily and as needed, and keep records.
• Maintain equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions; complete preventive maintenance requirements and schedules.
• Follow company procedures and safety rules.
• Communicate with management and production employees about production schedule.

Requirements:

• Have a complete working knowledge of proper powder or spraying techniques.
• Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and vendors as needed.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to identify color and texture.
• Be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
• Be able to work in cold or hot temperatures in plant.
• Be able to pass general, physical, and respirator medical evaluation.
