As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Santa Fe Springs, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-focused culture through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with property policies; document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in required reports.
• Communicate professionally with property personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
