We are seeking an accomplished Medical Malpractice and Birth Injury Attorney to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator passionate about advocating for injured patients and families, with the flexibility of a primarily remote position.
About the Role
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in medical malpractice litigation—especially birth injury cases—along with strong analytical skills and the confidence to navigate complex, medically intensive matters. This role offers independence, flexibility, and a supportive, tech‑forward legal environment.
✨ Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of medical malpractice and birth injury matters from initial investigation through resolution
- Conduct and defend depositions, including experts and medical personnel
- Draft persuasive motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Collaborate with medical experts to develop case strategies
- Participate in mediations, hearings, and trials (in‑person appearances as needed)
- Efficiently use technology for case management, research, and litigation workflows
- Opportunity to market, network, and build your practice within the firm
Qualifications
- Active bar license in at least one U.S. state is required
- 10+ years of experience in medical malpractice litigation (birth injury experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
- Strong deposition experience and ability to handle complex medical issues
- Tech‑proficient across case management tools, digital research, and litigation technology
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business development
