Senior Billing SpecialistLocation: Long Island, NYType: Full-time | On-siteIs this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.HireIQ is partnering with an established construction and technology services business to hire an experienced Senior Billing Specialist for its Long Island finance team.This is a senior, hands-on billing position for someone who understands the complexity of NYC agency, government and construction billing and can take ownership of invoices from initial documentation through payment.Why Apply?Join an established business generating approximately $80M in annual revenueTake ownership of complex government and project billingSenior position with mentoring and team responsibilityExposure to NYC agencies, public-sector and commercial projectsOpportunity to improve billing processes and controlsWork within a growing, project-driven organizationThe RoleYou will be responsible for:Managing project billing from start to finishPreparing and reviewing T&M, fixed-price and project invoicesReviewing contracts, purchase orders and supporting documentationHandling NYC agency and government billing requirementsManaging prevailing-wage and certified-payroll documentationReviewing sign-in sheets, packing slips and billing backupResolving rejected, disputed or delayed invoicesCoordinating closely with Project Managers and internal teamsSupporting and mentoring billing staffImproving billing processes and controlsWhat They Need5+ years of hands-on xhyhwjd billing experienceStrong NYC agency, government or public-sector billing experienceConstruction, engineering, MEP, electrical, low-voltage or specialty-contracting experience preferredExperience with prevailing wage and certified payrollStrong attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentationExperience owning invoices through submission, follow-up and paymentIf you have strong NYC agency billing experience and are looking for a senior opportunity on Long Island, apply or message me directly for a confidential conversation.
