Position Details

• Facility: Worthington Medical Center
• Location: Worthington, MN

• Shift: Weekend
• Weekly Hours: 36.00
• Starting Rate: $3010

Scheduling Options

• Weekend-only contract: Work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Night contract: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, two out of three weekends
• Variable shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 3:30 AM, or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, two out of three weekends

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) will:

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver personalized care to patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to plan and assess care.
• Demonstrate nursing competency and adhere to age-specific standards in their clinical environment.
• Provide care across all stages of preventative health, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Coordinate care, conduct patient assessments, educate patients, triage, and perform various nursing interventions.
• Operate within the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act and relevant administrative rules.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, such as those recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
• Must possess an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing where you will practice, or hold multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Must obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
