Pet BatherWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a strong understanding of pet care practices. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with both pets and their owners, making customer service skills essential.ResponsibilitiesBathe and groom pets according to breed-specific standards and client preferencesEnsure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessionsHandle animals with care, using proper restraint techniques when necessaryMaintain cleanliness in the grooming area and equipmentProvide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needsAssist with any additional pet care tasks as required, including drying, brushing, and nail trimmingMonitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to managementSkillsExperience in dog training or veterinary settings is a plusStrong dog handling skills and knowledge of animal behaviorFamiliarity with veterinary technician or assistant duties is beneficialExperience in equine care is an asset for those working with larger animalsProficiency in animal handling techniques, including restraint methodsKnowledge of pet grooming practices and toolsAbility to perform heavy lifting of 50lbs as required when handling larger breeds or equipmentPrevious kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageousExcellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet ownersJoin our team and contribute to the well-being of pets while enjoying a rewarding career in animal care!Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceWork Location: In person
