Responsibilities Ensure quality standards are being met Work to develop the business by taking on new projects and implementing changes as needed Develop and implement systems to ensure smooth operations Maintain communication with all stakeholders within the business Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment Oversee daily waste intake, handling, and shipment Ensure waste is properly compacted and transferred to trailers or containers Monitor equipment (compactors, loaders, scales) and schedule maintenance Manage the traffic flow of incoming and outgoing trucks Staff Supervision Supervise operators, scale attendants, and laborers Create schedules and assign duties Train employees on safety procedures and equipment use Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA and environmental regulations Maintain records for inspections and permits Conduct safety meetings and incident investigations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge of solid waste operations and environmental regulations Leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Familiarity with heavy equipment and facility operations Basic computer and reporting skills A combination of office work and outdoor, hands-on supervision Exposure to noise, odors, weather, and heavy machinery #J-18808-Ljbffr EcoSouth Services
