Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience to join our team. The candidate will work primarily in a Level IV NICU but must also be willing to assist in adult floor and ICU settings. The ideal candidate will be Level IV NICU trained and possess the necessary skills to handle a variety of complex respiratory care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonates, infants, children, and adults.
• Administer therapies and medications as per protocols.
• Monitor and manage ventilator settings and make necessary adjustments.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in critical care procedures including intubations and extubations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Washington state respiratory license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with advanced ventilators including Servo U, Hamilton C-1, or Jet Ventilator.
