Role Description The ABA Teacher will provide direct instruction and behavior support to students with autism and related disabilities using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in a classroom setting. This full-time, on-site role in Hollywood, FL includes implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), developing and delivering lesson plans, collecting and analyzing student data, and adjusting teaching strategies based on progress. The ABA Teacher will support communication, social, academic, and daily living skills, while promoting positive behaviors and safe learning environments. Responsibilities also include collaborating with behavior analysts and other team members, communicating regularly with families, participating in staff meetings and training, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with school policies.

Salary Range:

$42,000 - $44,000 based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience supporting learners with autism or related disabilities.
• Ability to design and adapt Lesson Planning to meet individualized student needs and IEP goals.
• Effective Communication skills for working with students, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Training and coaching skills to implement ABA strategies consistently and to follow behavior support plans.
• Experience or coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred; willingness to learn and follow ABA protocols required.
• RBT Certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
• Capacity to work patiently and calmly, manage challenging behaviors safely, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Ability to stand, move, and engage actively with students throughout the school day, and to follow all safety and ethical guidelines.
