Industrial Quality Engineer

The Industrial Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on improving processes, reducing defects, driving root-cause analysis, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production operations. Perks of joining ColonialWebb: Career development and progression 401(k) plan with company match PTO and paid holidays Excellent medical, dental, life, vision and disability benefits Employee Assistance Program Employee referral incentives A Day in the Life: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for manufacturing processes Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product quality Support new product introductions and process changes with quality planning and validation Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits Ensure compliance with ISO, regulatory, and customer quality requirements Develop and maintain quality documentation (control plans, inspection plans, SOPs) You should have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) 2–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial quality role Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA) Experience with root cause analysis methods Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Demonstrate proficiency interfacing with technology, including knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel for cost estimating and engineering functions EOE M/W/Disability/Vets Veterans and those with previous military experience are encouraged to apply We are an equal opportunity employer.
