Seeking a motivated Certified Profee Coder, the full-time remote position will manage high-volume coding for a busy family practice clinic, focusing on diagnostic and procedure coding in accordance with national guidelines. Key responsibilities: Analyze medical records and accurately code diagnostic and procedural information Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic medical records, ensuring completeness Provide quality assurance for medical records, ensuring compliance with coding regulations and standards Required qualifications: At least 1 year of recent experience in E/M Family Practice coding Current certification through AAPC or AHIMA High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in medical record keeping Six months of professional coding services or related healthcare experience Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles as recommended by relevant associations
