About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Preferred 2 years, will accept 1.5 years experience from a similar facility License: Pending license accepted Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Ability to cross-train and float between campuses - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend - First-timers accepted Description: Will cross-train and float between campuses. Average patient ratios: 1:6 during days, 1:6 during nights. Preferred experience includes working in environments similar to a Level I trauma center. Candidates must provide certifications in TNCC, ACLS, and BLS. Travelers are not assigned trauma/rescue rooms, triage, or locked behavioral health units. If a scheduled weekend shift is missed, a make-up shift will be scheduled within the next six weeks. The make-up shift will be marked appropriately, and if a candidate misses this shift, it will be rescheduled immediately. Client is a short-term acute care facility with a focus on emergency services. The unit serves a diverse patient population, including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare professionals and specialized services. Candidates should have experience in managing acute conditions and trauma. Travelers are required to communicate any planned vacations during the period between sign date and the start date. Local candidates are not accepted. Candidates are expected to complete required modules prior to start and on an annual basis.
