Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon

Carilion Clinic is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Plastic Surgeon to join an established practice in Blacksburg, Virginia at the Assistant or Associate level. You will step into a stable, growing team featuring two other surgeons and a master aesthetician, supported by a broad case mix and a strong existing referral base. Practice Info Established practice with 2 other surgeons and a master aesthetician Facility expansion in progress with a brand new, purpose-built space Diverse plastic surgery practice including cosmetic, breast, reconstructive, and general plastic surgery procedures On-site procedure room in the practice with local anesthesia Access to OR's at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, Carilion Giles Community Hospital and the New River Valley Ambulatory Surgical Center Primary and secondary population of approximately 750,000 served Responsibilities Collaborate with 8 experienced surgery partners in the department of Plastic Surgery at Carilion Clinic Teach and mentor residents through the integrated plastic surgery residency at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine Compensation Min Starting Salary: $540,000 Max Starting Salary: $708,000 Competitive salary with bonus incentive based on scorecard measures and production Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary Benefits Relocation Allowance Vacation CME Malpractice Pension Plan - Employer Funded 403B Retirement Savings Plan Life Health & Disability Paid Time Off Shift & Schedule No ER call and very light shared practice call from home Posted Start Date: Negotiable Qualifications Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Plastic Surgeon Fellowship training is not required H-1B visa accepted
