Eye Center, Inc. is a locally owned, physician-led private practice that has served Manatee County for more than 60 years.

We are seeking an Associate Optometrist to join our team of eight ODs across our Bradenton and Parrish locations. We welcome both experienced doctors and new graduates and offer multiple schedule options designed to provide greater flexibility.

Our doctors practice full-scope primary-care optometry in an environment focused on patient care rather than corporate quotas or rushed exams.

Full-Time Schedule Options

Option 1 – $120,000 Guaranteed Minimum

Four weekdays + every other Saturday

• Four weekdays each week
• Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
• $120,000 guaranteed minimum annually
• Opportunity to earn more through the production compensation model

This option provides a more traditional weekday schedule while reducing Saturday coverage to approximately twice per month.

Option 2 – Four-Day Workweek

Monday, Wednesday, Friday + Saturday

• Monday
• Wednesday
• Friday
• Saturday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
• $108,000 guaranteed minimum annually
• Opportunity to earn more through the production compensation model
• Three weekdays off each week

The schedule is split between the Bradenton and Parrish locations.

Part-Time

• Monday and Wednesday required
• Additional days may be available
• Per-diem compensation
• No benefits
  
  

Compensation

Full-time ODs receive the greater of their guaranteed minimum compensation or 14% of net collections each month.

Depending on the schedule selected, the guaranteed minimum is:

• $120,000 annually for four weekdays + every other Saturday
• $108,000 annually for Monday, Wednesday, Friday + Saturday

As your patient panel develops, compensation can transition above the guarantee through the production model.

Current full-time ODs generate approximately $85,000–$120,000+ in monthly production , providing meaningful long-term earning potential as collections grow.

Full-Scope Clinical Practice

Our doctors provide:

• Comprehensive eye examinations
• Refractions
• Contact lens fittings
• Diagnosis and management of ocular disease
• Office visits and follow-up care

Technology available across our locations includes:

• OCT
• Visual field testing
• Optomap retinal imaging

Additional technology at Bradenton includes:

• Corneal topography
• Meibomian gland imaging
• Full surfacing and finishing lab for in-house lens fabrication

You will join a team o f eight experienced optometrists , providing opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, clinical discussion, and support as you build confidence and establish your patient base.
