If you want to join a rising firm that is consistently named among the 50 best-managed firms in the nation, this is the firm for you.Doeren Mayhew is seeking a Seasonal Tax Scanner to support the Domestic Tax department in our Grand Rapids, MI office for the 2027 tax season beginning in January 2027.Hours will start around 20-30 per week and gradually increase to 40-45 hours per week as deadlines approach. Saturdays will be required as workload increases.Responsibilities:Receive, sort, and organize incoming tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, receipts, statements, etc.).Operate high-volume scanners and document management software to digitize tax documents.Upload files to the appropriate client folder or tax software (e.g., CCH, Thomson Reuters, UltraTax).Communicate with administrative staff or tax professionals to clarify document needs.Other ad hoc administrative duties as needed.Qualifications:High School diploma or GED requiredAbility to work in the office Monday through Friday, including some Saturdays as workload increasesProficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and AdobeExcellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workStrong organization and communication skillsAbility to work independently and with a teamStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsBasic accounting knowledge preferredDoeren Mayhew is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
