Key Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including detailed assessments of their medical histories and current physical capabilities, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment. * Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patients' specific goals, incorporating various therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities. * Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and dry needling to alleviate pain and enhance healing processes. * Educate patients and their families on effective home care strategies, including therapeutic exercises and proper body mechanics, to promote self-management and long-term health. * Regularly monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and achieve set rehabilitation goals. * Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient treatment, progress, and changes in condition in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or those experiencing acute or chronic musculoskeletal issues. You will work with a diverse population, including children, adults, and the elderly, adapting your therapeutic strategies to meet the varying needs and abilities of each age group. Qualifications * A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. * Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex therapeutic concepts in understandable terms to patients and their families. * Empathy and compassion are essential, prioritizing the emotional and physical well-being of each patient. * Proficient manual skills for effective therapeutic intervention. Preferred Experience * A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a track record of successful patient outcomes. * Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care. * Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for maintaining patient documentation and tracking progress. Compensation and Benefits MediPack offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
