Volunteer Befriender - Face to Face Visits Contract Type: Flexible Salary: This is a voluntary role for which there is no remuneration Location: Local community (home visits & phone calls) Time commitment: 1–2 hours per week Role type: Voluntary (unpaid) About the Role Could you spare 30 minutes to an hour to brighten someone’s day? As a Volunteer Befriender , you’ll provide regular face-to-face visits or friendly phone calls to people who are feeling lonely or socially isolated. Your time, conversation, and companionship can make a huge difference to someone’s wellbeing.
