Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,701 per week

Job Overview MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN for an ICU – Intensive Care Unit assignment in Metairie, Louisiana. Start Date: 05/05/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 48 per week. Shift: 12‑hour days. Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities Provide patient care, education, and support to patients and their families. Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes. Observe patients’ heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress. Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters as needed. Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration. Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patients’ physical condition. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively. Qualifications Active RN license. Degree from an accredited nursing program. BLS & ACLS certification. At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care ICU setting.
