Come join us and become a part of our winning formula!The Product Manager is the business leader of new product strategy and commercialization across a portfolio of brand and private label retail customers for the Company. This position makes an immediate impact with diverse experience across vitamin, mineral, supplement, sports nutrition, and food customers. The Product Manager is a cross-functional leader of new product launches including project management, product development, pricing strategy, margin/P&L analysis, claims, and packaging/label design.Estimated starting annual base salary is $101,421.24 - $152,131.86 per year less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, paid based on Company performance factors. Each benefit is subject to eligibility requirements as specified in plan documents, and the Company reserves the right to modify the benefits it offers from time to time.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead internal cross-functional teams across Research & Development, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory to deliver fast paced, highly incremental innovation growth, with customer management responsibilities.Partner with external brands and retailers on launch of new products including product development, cost optimization, shelf-life validation, claims development, document development, and packaging/label design. This includes coordinating questionnaires, product specifications, stability data, samples, Certificate of Analysis (COA), Quality Assurance (QA), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) audit reports, Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), lab test results, item features, and benefits.Manage several projects, often at different stages, including developing plans, coordinating timelines, and managing multi-functional tasks to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished on time.Build and enhance selling tools and stories to enable sales team to sell-in close and new platforms to customers.Analyze product performance in partnership with sales and operations to forecast production.Lead process improvements to speed time to market of new product innovations.Identify customer-specific product opportunities across brands and retailers through customer analyses, point of sales data (i.e., Nielsen), trends, and consumer insights.Build business case and strategic rationale for pursuing new innovations including opportunity assessment, financial impact, pricing strategy, and feasibility analysis.Required QualificationsEducation & Experience:Degree in marketing, business administration, or related field, or commensurate combination of education and work experience.3 years' product management or related professional experience in the consumer products industry.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):Demonstrated success working in an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment.Strong analytical skills to analyze data and experience managing multiple competing priorities and projects simultaneously. Ability to drive and appropriately prioritize requirements and activities.Ability to build structures and processes.Ability to lead, direct and integrate cross-functional, cross-organizational, multi-disciplinary and/or virtual project teams to meet business objectives. Demonstrated leadership, creativity & resourcefulness.Strong problem solving, project management, customer service, interpersonal communication, teamwork, leadership, business, ethics, strategic thinking, and judgement skills.Track record demonstrating strong financial/cost management skills and the ability to meet budget commitments.Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels and gain reputation as a trusted leader, advisor, and business partner. Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas with customers, peers and leadership and provide reports both verbally and in written format.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
