Pay: $3.00 per hour on-call PLUS $30.00 per delivery; hourly rate for retail aspect.

This on-call Medical Delivery Driver/Retail Specialist role is perfect for those who enjoy helping others and making a difference in people's lives. If you are deeply dependable, have exceptional people skills, and have the ability to learn and educate, then Alpine Home Medical would love to consider you for this role. In this position, you will be responsible for efficient and friendly delivery service and equipment training to customers in their home, as well as assisting customers in a retail setting. Our drivers are the "face of Alpine Home Medical" to our customers, clients, and care facilities, so exceptions customer service skills are an essential aspect of this role. On occasion, may fill in doing customer service at our store.

Likely Schedule: Driver - On-call evenings Monday through Friday and weekends, minimum one week per month.

Possible Retail shifts - 3-5 shifts per month (2PM-6PM)

What You'll Do in This Role:

• Providing an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the customer is always the priority
• Delivering home medical equipment, and picking up equipment in a timely manner
• Educating customers on the use of home medical equipment
• Driving safely and defensively, making sure to obey all traffic laws
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining rental equipment
• Maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse and delivery vehicle
• Responsible for observing confidentiality at all times
• Assist customers in product recommendation and POS system
• Cleaning and stocking of showroom floor
• Adhering to all company policy
• Performing these and other functions as directed by management

• Clean driving record
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate and share information with a diverse group of customers and peers
• A resourceful self-starter able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Works well independently, as well as part of a team
• Be a cooperative team member with a positive attitude
• Ability to respond to customer questions and concerns with a friendly, committed attitude
• A High school diploma or a G.E.D.

There Will Also be Some Physical Requirements:

• Reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including POS system and ability to process register transactions
• Frequently lift/move up to 65lbs
