Role: AVID MAM Expert

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Source Data Preparation

Export and prepare media assets and metadata from Avid MAM for migration
Organize source data to ensure accuracy and consistency

Metadata Migration

Extract enrich and validate metadata from Avid MAM systems
Ensure metadata integrity and linkage between media objects and assignments
Normalize metadata for compatibility with downstream ingestion workflows

Media Migration

Execute migration workflows to transfer media assets from AWS S3 archives to cloudbased processing environments
Validate successful transfers and troubleshoot issues during migration

Cloud Integration

Support ingestion workflows within Mimir to process assets generate proxies and archive content into Google Cloud Storage GCS
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration with CBS NEWS file transfer platform

Required Skills Experience

Mandatory Strong handson expertise with Avid MAM Media Asset Management
Experience with AWS S3 services and cloudbased migration workflows
Familiarity with Google Cloud Storage GCS or other cloud storage platforms
Knowledge of metadata migration processes and workflow automation
Ability to design scalable reliable and efficient migration workflows

Preferred Qualifications

Background in media broadcast technology environments
Familiarity with Mimir ingestion pipelines
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
