Licensed Practical Nurse

LPN Acute Care

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Acute Care provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider in the Inpatient Specialty Care departments.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Medical Unit, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital

Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range: $25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experience. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum Required: Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing
• Preferred: Experience working in critical care or hospital environment

License/Certification:

• Minimum Required: Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit
• Preferred: Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)
