The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Nortel and Cisco CUCM, strong networking skills, and the ability to work in high-visibility, customer-facing environments. This role requires a solid understanding of VoIP technologies, basic networking, and Bix cable termination skills. The technician will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications systems to ensure optimal performance.**Responsibilities:*** System Configuration and Maintenance:* Configure and maintain Nortel/Avaya and Cisco VOIP phones.* Perform on-the-job training (OJT) for VoIP technicians as needed.* Ensure all telecommunications systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.* Network and Cable Management:* Possess a solid understanding of basic networking principles.* Perform Bix cable termination and other cabling tasks as required.* Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.* Customer Support:* Provide high-level technical support in customer-facing environments.* Ensure excellent communication with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.* Documentation and Reporting:* Maintain accurate documentation of all configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.* Generate reports as needed for management and compliance purposes.* Security and Compliance:* Adhere to all security protocols and procedures associated with TS/SCI clearance.* Ensure all telecommunications activities comply with organizational and government regulations.**Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or GED required.* 5-7 years of comprehensive experience with Nortel and Cisco CUCM.* Skills and Attributes:* Comfortable working in high-visibility and customer-facing environments.* Strong communications skills.* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).* Experience with classified and unclassified Internet (IP) preferred.* Certifications:* Nortel / Avaya Certification required.* Security+ Certified.* TS/SCI Clearance-**What You Can Expect:****A culture of integrity.**At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
