This model supports real-time problem-solving, stronger relationships, and the kind of precision that drives great outcomes.As a Sr. Product Manager at Palo Alto Networks, you will be responsible for developing and driving our product execution strategy.You will compliment you and your team's creativity through deep interaction with customers and partners to understand requirements and needs. You will be responsible for all stages of the product life cycle (conception, definition, development, pricing, release, and post-release activities) managing strategic planning, feature selection and tactical activities. Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing to create product related sales and marketing materials and evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally.Your Impact:Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, product strategy, and product positioningProduct Requirements, Feature prioritization and trade off decision makingAbility to work effectively with all areas of the organization, from engineering to salesCustomer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gatheringProvide support to other departments for owned feature setQualificationsBS/MS in Computer Science, Other engineering/technical degree, MBA preferred6+ years of experience in highly technical roles in product management, development, or enterprise services, at large organizations or innovative startupsExperience working with or for Service Providers (MNO, MSO, ISP, Wisps) and MSPs preferredStrong desire to take ownership of the full product life cycleDrive to design something new, innovative, and disruptiveHands-on nature with very strong interest in new technology productsExcellent written, verbal communication & presentation skillsDomain expertise in security & network architecture preferredCompensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
