Radiology Tech I - Full Time Evenings

Responsibilities Perform routine radiographic procedures for neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Perform routine fluoroscopic procedures for neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Practice radiation safety. Utilize correct patient positioning, and exposure factors. Provide appropriate patient care for imaging IV, O2, IV Pump, etc. Practice appropriate infection control. Assess quality and appropriateness of images with minimal supervision. Transport patients when needed. Maintain patient records and documentation accurately. Charge supplies accurately. Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor immediately. Participate in routine cleaning of radiology equipment. Use resources in a cost effective manner. Perform and/or participate in the Imaging Services Process Improvement, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and MQSA activities as may be required. Requirements Minimum Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technology School Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiology Technology - preferred. Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications: One year of clinical experience. Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation: State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Certification State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy (CRT) Certification Credentialed in American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) preferred Additional Certification for each qualified imaging modality. Mammography certification will be required for Mammography Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire) Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire) #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
