As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Mornings in Waterloo, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production spaces, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitor, employee, and contractor activity and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized access concerns.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
