Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Position patients accurately and operate radiographic equipment according to procedural guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Restrict radiation exposure by properly using collimating devices and safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Perform portable x-ray examinations in various clinical settings, including patient rooms and emergency areas.
  
  
• 
  Develop exposed films using available processing methods, ensuring clear diagnostic images.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate patient records, properly labeling and filing x-ray films and related documentation.
  
  
• 
  Assist in preparing and administering radiopaque contrast media while supporting patient comfort and safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  
  
• 
  Possess a valid New Jersey State License and meet the requirements for the ARRT certification exam.
  
  
• 
  Have 1-2 years of radiologic experience; 3+ years preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience with manifold systems for cath lab procedures.
  
  
• 
  Hold current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
