Special Education Teacher

Overview We are seeking a CA Credential Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 25/26 school year. This is a High School Resource position working with students in grades 9-12, caseload 20-25, mild/moderate, 35-40 hours weekly. Top rated High School in a great location! Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students. Collaborate with general education teachers to support student learning. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student performance. Participate in professional development and training opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university CA Schools Teaching Certification Teaching Endorsement; Mild/Moderate Prior experience working in a school setting or with children is preferred Required Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team including Paras, therapists, teachers and parents Knowledge of special education laws and regulations. Preferred Skills Familiarity with various teaching methodologies. SEIS experience Pay range and compensation package Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
