Learning Support Teacher – SS Colman and John Neumann Elementary School Jun 23 2026 Learning Support Teacher SS Colman and John Neumann Elementary School Responsibilities: Provide small-group and individualized instruction to students with learning differences, with an emphasis on literacy using the Wilson Reading System (or a similar program). Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and parents to develop and implement support plans tailored to student needs. Conduct assessments to identify student learning profiles and monitor progress using iReady or other tools. Use data to help progress monitor students and create small learning groups. Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and communicate regularly with families and staff. Coordinate IST meetings and serve as a key advocate for students requiring accommodations or interventions. Promote an inclusive classroom environment rooted in Catholic values, where all students feel valued and supported. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field. Valid PA Instructional Certificate in Special Education or equivalent. Certification in Wilson Language Training or a similar reading program.
