This is a Full-Time Days position, working 40 hours per week with shifts of 8:00am-4:30pm. Weekends rotation included.We are looking for candidates who thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Mobility Technicians assist nursing staff in supporting the mobility needs of patients.Mobility Technician Job Responsibilities:Assist clinical staff in the safe repositioning, ambulation, and transfer of patientsUtilize patient handling equipment such as lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boardsRespond to mobility requests from nursing and rehabilitation departmentsSupport fall prevention strategies and early mobility protocolsDocument patient mobility activities in accordance with hospital policiesMaintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.Mobility Technician Experience:NoneEducation:HSD/GED requiredAssociate's Degree PreferredLicenses and Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) RequiredIf you are interested in a Mobility Technician position at Baptist South, please apply now!Baptist South is serving the rapidly growing neighborhoods in southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties.
