HVAC InstallerAs an HVAC Installer with Blue Ox Heating & Air, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential properties. You will be responsible for ensuring that HVAC units are installed correctly and operating efficiently to meet the comfort needs of our customers. As the parent company to renowned brands like Blue Ox Heating & Air, Paul Bunyan Plumbing & Drains, and EarlyBird Electric, we bring decades of expertise and a commitment to legendary service to every home we serve.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork in residential properties.Conduct site inspections and measurements to determine appropriate HVAC system placement.Install and connect refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and ventilation systems.Perform load calculations to determine the appropriate size and capacity of HVAC units.Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.Comply with all safety protocols and HVAC codes and regulations.Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of installations and projects.Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Installer in a residential setting.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.Proficient in interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.EPA certification is preferred.Interpersonal QualificationsCustomer service focus and mindset, putting our employees and Partners first, with excellent ability to communicate and develop relationships.Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities to improve things both big and small.Highly organized, ability to act quickly while still having attention to detail.Hold yourself to a higher standard and exhibit a high level of integrity.Why You'll Want to Work HereAt Legendary, we don't just talk the talk - we live our values every day.
