Position: Dock Lead
Location: Swedesboro, NJ
Pay Rate: $23.00 an hour
- Follow all GMP, Food Safety, and company safety procedures
- Supervise dock leads, forklift drivers, recoup staff, and expeditors
- Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of employees
- Implement and enforce operational procedures, systems, and SOPs
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Develop schedules, assign work, and monitor productivity standards
- Communicate with internal departments and customers regarding shipments and operations
- Ensure efficient movement of products from receiving through shipping
- Inspect labels, barcodes, and completed orders for accuracy
- Track and report operational metrics and performance dat
- Document operational procedures and best practice
- Monday to Saturday, 10:00am - Finish
- [High school diploma or GED required
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar warehouse or dock leadership role
- Knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse operations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High attention to detail and customer service
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Reliable and dependable attendance
