Occupational Therapist School Setting - Dunnellon, FL

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience in schools, home health, and/or healthcare OT settings preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy needs and IEP process
• Previous supervisory or mentorship experience with COTAs valued
• Effective communicator with staff, students, and families
• Comfortable traveling between assigned locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group OT services to students across multiple campuses
• Develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Supervise and support a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Participate in IEP meetings, goal development, and progress reporting
• Document interventions, evaluations, and outcomes in a timely manner
• Adapt services and interventions to best meet students' unique goals
