Event StaffThis Event Staff position is responsible for patrolling all areas of property and parking lots, securing doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees and contract labor while on premises; securing property during move in/out trade shows, conventions or events.This role pays an hourly rate of $11.00-$13.00Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matchingEVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.ResponsibilitiesSecures the property including all buildings and doors that should be securedLocks and unlocks facility doorsConducts routine property walks.Responds to emergency situationsInteracts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employeesSecures the safety of all individuals on the premisesAppropriately deals with "unruly" peopleWorks independently, and judges and assess situations for immediate responseQualificationsHigh school diploma or G.E.D.6 months to 1 year security experience, preferable in a similar environmentValid driver's license requiredAbility to work with minimal supervisionStrong customer service skillsGood written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including managementAbility to work irregular hours including night shifts, weekends, and holidaysProfessional presentation, appearance and work ethicInteract with emergency personnel; provide accurate descriptions and directionsAbility to utilize two-way radios, monitor phones and closed circuit security cameras TeamWork Online
