Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a critical role supporting high school students as a full-time Special Education Teacher. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to make a real impact for approximately 16 students placed in general education classrooms. The position is onsite, running from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, aligning with the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification to teach Special Education
• Experience working with high school students, particularly in inclusive classroom settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to effectively collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students with varied learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with legal requirements
• Work closely with general education teachers to ensure appropriate modifications and accommodations
• Regularly assess progress, adapt strategies, and communicate student needs with families and staff
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student success
