Salary: $105,000 - 149,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree, or a high school diploma plus 7 years of relevant experience in its place.
• We require 5+ years of experience in the life, health, or annuity insurance industry.
• We require 5+ years of research and analytical experience.
• We require 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• We prefer 2+ years of reinsurance experience.
• We prefer 2+ years of contract drafting experience with strong written communication skills.
• We prefer 1+ year of experience in negotiation.
• We prefer 1+ year of experience using AI tools and technologies to support contract analysis, business analysis, process improvement, requirements gathering, and data-informed decision-making.
• We value the ability to turn analysis into practical business insights.
• Paralegal, document management, or related qualifications are a plus.

• We support reinsurance development across business, operational, financial, and legal activities connected to agreements and related processes.
• We draft, review, and coordinate agreements, amendments, and supporting documents with Legal, management, and internal stakeholders.
• We manage communications with reinsurers, business partners, and other stakeholders to help ensure timely execution of agreements.
• We perform business analysis, including competitor research, counterparty due diligence, trend tracking, and senior management reporting.
• We assist with compliance, audit, risk, and cyber security requests by collecting inputs, tracking requirements, and preparing materials.
• We maintain templates, process documentation, trackers, and business-as-usual materials to strengthen governance and efficiency.
• We help coordinate RFP processes by organizing information, supporting communication, and documenting key decisions.
• We partner with reinsurance administration to relay contract updates and operational changes.
• We track recurring contractual, governance, and reporting obligations to help ensure they are completed on time.

We are MassMutuals Reinsurance Development Team, a small center of excellence that manages our reinsurance relationships across the company. Our team includes reinsurance actuaries and reinsurance administration professionals who develop, negotiate, secure, and administer traditional and financial reinsurance solutions.
