Position: Clinician II Job Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt Shift Details: Monday-Friday / 9:00am - 5:00pm Work Location: Intensive Residential Treatment Center (IRT) Travel Required - Must provide services in King and Pierce counties. Salary/Hourly Wage: $38.00 - $40.00/Hourly Retention Bonus: $10,000 Sign On Bonus: $6,000 Specialties / Licenses or Certifications: -Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university. -Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. -State professional certification where applicable. Preferred Experience and Attributes: PACT team experience Outreach experience Enjoys flexible schedules and autonomy Likes working in the community and traveling between sites Experienced professional who values flexibility Summary of Job: The Clinician II develops a recovery service plan and uses recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling to engage individuals in their individual recovery journey. The Clinician II also orients individuals to the program by collaborating and assessing needs, identifying challenges and facilitating the development of goals in the treatment and recovery process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Guest Care & Advocacy: Serves as the mental health professional for individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community agency, when applicable. Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services. Assesses the individual's needs and provides appropriate support and referral. Provides short-and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis. Provides family education and family counseling. Facilitates recovery education courses. Compliance & Risk Management: Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion. Completes clinical documentation as required. Complete Incident Reports according to policy. Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. Education/Licenses : Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university. Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. State professional certification where applicable. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of behavioral health experience required. Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Excellent documentation skills Ability to pay close attention to detail. Ability to problem solve. Effective listening skills. Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements Driving Requirements: If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations' driving policy. If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed. Miscellaneous Requirements: Travel required based on business need. Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement. Successful complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism. We are a Second-Chance Employer Must be able to pass a seven-year background check. Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable). Must be able to pass education verification check. Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states. Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier (if driving is required for this position). A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process. Physical Demands : May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds. Work Environment May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused.
