Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their individual needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, all aimed at alleviating pain and promoting mobility.
• Regularly track and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as required to ensure the achievement of therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment techniques, self-care strategies, assistive devices, and the proper use of equipment needed for recovery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops, seminars, and other continuing education opportunities, to maintain licensure and enhance knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients of varying ages, including those recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, or chronic orthopedic conditions. Our patient-centric approach is designed to help them attain their highest level of functioning and independence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is required, candidates with advanced training in specialized therapeutic techniques or those who have experience in a fast-paced rehabilitation facility will be highly regarded. Experience working with diverse patient populations and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is an added advantage.
