Follow all safety guidelines and participate as fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents Observes devices and equipment in operation and troubleshoot problems Performs various electromechanical maintenance functions Respond to internal customer service and trouble calls Makes necessary repairs to equipment, as required Perform equipment calibrations to all analytical equipment and measurement devices Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections Installs and prepares equipment for startup, as required Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments Repairs or replaces defective parts and installs special functional and structural parts in devices Provide timely and effective communication of important issues to supervisor Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties Responsible for housekeeping in work area Uphold a safe, clean and orderly work environment Performs other related duties as required Quality of work meets best equipment engineering and maintenance practices Work closely with all shift peers and production team members What You Will Need: Applicant should have general knowledge and background in HVAC, manufacturing equipment, and industrial electrical systems. Applicant must have the technical skills needed to build, program, integrate, service, maintain and operate PLC’s used in an automated manufacturing plant. An Associates degree (AAS) or equivalent from a two-year technical school studying applied trades is preferred. One (1) or more years of directly related experience.
