Description

• Conduct assessments for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized assessments and observational strategies.
• Design tailored treatment plans that align with both immediate needs and long-term goals, encompassing communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that target communication, language skills, fluency, voice production, and swallowing functionalities.
• Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop synchronized care plans.
• Provide comprehensive patient and family education to foster improvement outside of clinical environments.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure complete continuity of care throughout the healing process.
• Maintain diligent and up-to-date documentation in line with all state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Keep your skills sharp and innovative through ongoing education and collaborations with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of your start date.
