- Conduct assessments for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized assessments and observational strategies.
- Design tailored treatment plans that align with both immediate needs and long-term goals, encompassing communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that target communication, language skills, fluency, voice production, and swallowing functionalities.
- Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop synchronized care plans.
- Provide comprehensive patient and family education to foster improvement outside of clinical environments.
- Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure complete continuity of care throughout the healing process.
- Maintain diligent and up-to-date documentation in line with all state, federal, and organizational regulations.
- Keep your skills sharp and innovative through ongoing education and collaborations with peers.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of your start date.
- Expertise in evidence-based practices for varying age groups, with a comprehensive understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

- Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
