Heavy Duty Field Service Technician

Job TitleField MechanicsField Mechanics are responsible for repairing, diagnosing, inspecting and maintaining various types of forestry and other earth moving equipment, primarily servicing rentals, and customer owned equipment. Our ideal mechanic has 3-5 years' of experience in electrical, hydraulics and computer controlled systems, drive train, & engines; communicates effectively and professionally to customers, supervisors and vendors; can drive company vehicle to/from company locations, and job sites; be on call; able to lift up to 50 lbs.; Technicians from all certification levels will be considered.Job RequirementsPositive customer service and communication skillsCompetent using laptop computer and scan tools as part of diagnostic trouble-shootingSelf-motivating. Capable of completing tasks without direct supervisionPossess safe work habits, with a "can do" job completion attitudeMaintains a great attitude toward work, & enjoys being part of a teamAble to read schematics (both electrical and hydraulic)Knowledgeable in troubleshooting various heavy equipment product linesRequired to have your own hand tools up to 1 ½ inchPerform thorough and accurate annual inspectionsA high school diploma or equivalent is requiredAble to pass a drug screen.Valid Washington Driver's License, CDL endorsement is RequiredDesired QualificationsFactory, vocational, or mechanical training is a plusHistory of working with different forms of heavy equipment, specifically cranes, excavators and forestry equipmentTRIAD MACHINERY offers a generous benefit package.
